will the server ever get updated to a newer version of mc ?

hi im xGUARDIANANGELx and im a player that used to play on the server and just started playing again !
i was wondering if this server would get updated  ?

We need to wait for all the plugins to update to the newest version for it to work. Sorry.

Not sure... theres a lot of dbase updates with the new version... plus you all know you SHOULD NOT update when a new MC comes out. we have to convert the user database to the new version so you guys can login properly

hey guard, easy way to get on i will show you how

1) open your launcher


2) click "edit profile"


3) You will see this pop-up


4) click here to open versions


4) choose 1.7.5 or download optifine in 1.7.5 if you want that (will show up right there)


5) click "save profile"


6) join us


using 1.7.5 will allow you to get on NY and any updated servers.
once NY is updated, do the same thing over again and set it to use the latest version

i know she wanted to know when it will update.

but she wanted to know when so she could play on the server. now she can play on the server NOW rather than wait for an update

Give it like another 4 months for all updates to catch up. Hopefully the server stays on while everyone else moves on to 1.7.10

Server plans to stay on... we'll see what is involved in the upgrade, as they are using a new naming database so I have to convert all the usernames to the actual new fancy numbering system they are using for user id's... otherwise when you login, you'll be known as a new player
