Today I destroyed Zach's home. This is in addition to confiscating the spawners in Red's grinder yesterday.
I maintain a supply of spawn eggs I use to replace pets and horses killed by griefers. There are hidden in a what was designed to be a secure location. One day, I found redvapor in the area. I warned him that he wasn't allowed there and he should never return. Later, I learned that he had been going back frequently and had told others about it as well. I checked the logs to see which players had deposited monster eggs into their chests that day and found that many players had stored stacks upon stacks of rare eggs into their chests, all of which I confiscated. I then warned everyone that if any of those eggs remained, they would have to be returned to me or the players would be jailed or banned. I repeated this warning multiple times in the last two weeks.
Yesterday, players told me that Red's new grinder was made with illegal eggs. I checked the logs to see his chest activity and he had been moving around stacks of them the day the grinder was built. Zach was there when David and I seized Red's spawners and when I reiterated that anyone with those eggs would have to give them back immediately or be jailed and banned. Today, by chance, a player asked me to see what was in one of Zach's chests and it turned out it was full of rare eggs that can't normally be obtained (he had repeatedly promised to me that he didn't have any).
His home was surrounded by multiple grinders that I can only assume were made with those eggs. Because they were all hidden underground and I couldn't destroy them individually I had to take the whole house down.
